To create a subdomain from your Namecheap cPanel account, you need to first log into your cPanel and then select “Domains section” and Subdomains menu.
Then, you need to enter the following details to create a subdomain.
- Subdomain (enter any subdomain which is actually the name of your subdomain)
- Domain (the domain name you want to create subdomain for from this drop-down menu)

#10. How to redirect a domain on Namecheap?
You can easily forward your domain visitors to any URL of your choice either to a completely new domain or a different site that you wish to redirect your audience. To redirect a domain on Namecheap, first login to your account, click on Domain List and find the domain that you wish to add a redirect.
Then, enter your domain in the Source URL field (e.g. yourdomain.com) and the link to which you need to forward your domain in the Destination URL field. If you want both yourdomain.tld and www.yourdomain.tld to be redirected, add the record for www accordingly to make necessary changes.

In the final step, you need to go to the Advanced DNS tab to check whether there any conflicting records such as CNAME or URL redirect records and remove all of such records for the domain to work properly and not to give any issues for your domain in the future.
You’re done, it will usually take 30 to 40 minutes to see updated changes.
